Design, implement, and manage policies and procedures to ensure database and software security, applying advanced consulting skills and full industry knowledge. Develop innovative solutions to complex problems and work without considerable direction. Mentor and may supervise team members while shepherding project teams through the NIST or RMF process. Requires 6+ years of experience as an Information Systems Security Manager or Information System Security Officer, including knowledge of the NIST Risk Management Framework, security configuration hardening for cloud infrastructure, and TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph. Salary ranges from $77,600 to $176,000 annually. Required Qualifications
- 6+ years of experience as an Information Systems Security Manager (ISSM) or Information System Security Officer (ISSO)
- Knowledge of NIST Risk Management Framework, including NIST Special Publications 800 series
- Knowledge of security configuration and hardening, including for cloud infrastructure
- Ability to timely shepherd project teams through the NIST or RMF process
- TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
- HS diploma or GED
- Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information
- TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required
Desired Qualifications
- Experience as an Information Systems Security Engineer (ISSE) or Security Control Assessor (SCA)
- Knowledge of automation, cloud security, and vulnerability scanning
- Ability to solve complex security challenges
- Master's degree in IT or Cybersecurity
- Security+, CISM, CISSP, or equivalent Certification
