Job Summary
Information Systems Security Manager to lead security posture for classified deployments, document security controls, coordinate security artifacts with program and security teams, tailor NIST 800-53 controls for networks and continuous monitoring, oversee A&A/ATO processes, conduct security scanning, and shape product features to meet compliance goals. Must bring experience with RMF/JSIG, SDLC integration, risk and vulnerability assessments, encryption and secure communications, SSPs/POA&Ms, incident response, and collaboration with government security officials; preferred experience includes SAST/DAST/SCA, DoD cyber standards, DoD unmanned systems security, containerization and Kubernetes security, and CSP tooling.
Required Qualifications
- Active U.S. Top Secret security clearance
- Experience with NIST RMF, JSIG, and other industry standards
- Experience integrating security into SDLC and infrastructure design
- Security risk assessments, vulnerability assessments, and audits
- Implementation of security solutions (IDS/IPS, encryption protocols, secure communications)
- Develop and enforce access controls and encryption strategies
- Maintain System Security Plans (SSPs) and POA&Ms
- Lead Incident Response efforts and root cause analysis
- Oversee Authorization and Accreditation (A&A) processes to obtain/maintain Authority to Operate (ATO)
- Collaborate with government security officials and stakeholders
- Security awareness training and fostering cybersecurity excellence
- Mentorship and leadership of security team members
- Proven experience with application security (SAST, DAST, SCA)
- Security in unmanned/DoD environments
- Containerization and Kubernetes security
- Cloud Service Providers (CSPs) and related tools
