Job Summary
ISSM role in McLean, VA supporting customer RMF activities. The position requires TS/SCI with a polygraph and entails coordinating and enforcing information security policies, reviewing access requests, maintaining system data in XACTA, evaluating changes via RMF for Authority to Operate (ATO), managing multiple A&A projects from concept to ATO, and coordinating with stakeholders to mitigate vulnerabilities. Responsibilities include ensuring SSP and configuration management for security-relevant software, hardware, and firmware; monitoring system recovery processes; and maintaining current security documentation and governance participation. Desirable certifications include CEH, CISSP, CISA and familiarity with NIST SP 800-53/53A, ICD 503, CNSSI 1253, STIGs, and related tools; candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 4+ years of experience in cybersecurity/risk management with the ability to work on-site at the client location in McLean, VA.
Required Qualifications
- 4+ years of related experience
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Information Systems, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a closely related discipline
- US Citizenship Required: Yes
- TS/SCI with active polygraph clearance
- Experience with RMF, ICD 503, CNSSI 1253, NIST SP 800-53/53A, and STIGs
- Experience with XACTA 360, Continuum and other SCAP Compliant tools
