Job Summary
ISSE to support NSWC with security authorization and incident response, coordinate security changes and ensure compliance with security policies, conduct cybersecurity vulnerability and threat assessments, lead cyber-incident-response efforts including isolating affected systems and providing status updates to leadership, develop risk mitigation strategies, support continuous monitoring of information systems, and maintain knowledge of emerging cybersecurity threats. Requires active DoD SECRET clearance, US citizenship, and Bachelor’s degree in a related field; some onsite work in Philadelphia, PA or Norfolk, VA with potential remote option and travel.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent technical degree
- Active certifications: CCNA-Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, CND, SSCP
- 3 years of practical experience in cybersecurity or A&A related field
- US Citizen, SECRET clearance
- Ability to provide onsite support in Norfolk, VA; some remote work may be an option; travel may be required
- Experience with Navy RMF Process Guide (RPG), and Navy A&A tools such as ACAS, eMASS/eMASSter
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Teams, Project)
