Information Systems Security Engineer (ISSE)

Information Systems Security Engineer (ISSE) responsible for RMF authorization packages, ATOs, and vulnerability remediation. Lead security assessments, maintain eMASS, and ensure compliance with ACAS/SCAP, STIGs, and IAVM directives. Develop and maintain cybersecurity artifacts (SSP, SAR, POA&Ms), support system lifecycle security for AI-enabled and enterprise environments, and collaborate with DevOps, Cloud Architects, and AI/ML teams to embed security throughout the lifecycle. Requires TS/SCI with polygraph and DoD-context experience; compensation range $99,000–$225,000 annually. This role involves guiding teams, coordinating remediation efforts, and ensuring secure deployment of mission-critical systems. There may be occasional in-person work at Booz Allen facilities or customer sites, with remote/hybrid options as determined by leadership.
