Information Systems Security Engineer ( ISSE)

The Information Systems Security Engineer (ISSE) shall perform technical security assessments of computing environments to identify points of vulnerability, non-compliance with established Information Assurance (IA) standards and regulations, and recommend mitigation strategies. Responsibilities include participating as a security engineering representative on engineering teams for the design, development, implementation and/or integration of secure networking, computing, and enclave environments; advising on IA architecture, systems, or components; serving as the primary security engineering representative for design, development, implementation, evaluation, and integration across IA architectures; applying knowledge of AI policy, procedures, and workforce structure to secure networking and enclave environments; interacting with the customer and project team; supporting the government in enforcing trusted relationships among external systems; supporting security planning, risk analysis, and risk management; identifying overall security requirements for proper handling of Government data; performing multi-enclave system/network designs; and recommending system-level solutions.
