Job Summary
Senior Information Systems Security Engineer to support Army National Guard cyber infrastructure. You’ll define security concepts and translate them into plans of action, develop architecture using DoDAF/NAF/UAF, apply INCOSE principles, and guide clients through presentations, white papers, and milestones to secure the enterprise network. You’ll work with stakeholders to translate security concepts so informed decisions can be made to protect the Army National Guard’s cyber infrastructure. The role emphasizes architecture development, risk-based decision making, and collaboration with program management, assessors, and engineers.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- 5+ years of experience with information assurance or cybersecurity
- 3+ years of experience as ISSE/ISSO or Governance, Risk, and Compliance
- Experience with Cybersecurity Assessment and Authorization to achieve Authority to Operate (ATO)
- Experience with eMASS or Xacta
- Knowledge of NIST SP 800-53 Rev 5 transition requirements
- Ability to collaborate with ISSM, ISSE, assessors, systems architects, and systems engineering
- Top Secret clearance
- DoD 8140 Cybersecurity Certification such as Security+, CEH, or GCTI
