Job Summary
ISSE responsible for cybersecurity elements of Engineering and Operations network solutions and IA program adherence per DoD requirements. Prepare Assessment and Authorization (A&A) documents and procedures. Interface with IA team members, other security disciplines, program personnel, and Government security representatives. Ensure compliance with RMF and applicable DoD/NIST directives and publications. Requires TS/SCI with CI Poly clearance and a strong background in information assurance and related certification/training.
Required Qualifications
- 8 years of relevant experience
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in a related field
- Master’s degree may substitute for 2 years of experience
- 4 years of additional ISSO experience may substitute for a bachelor’s degree
- Track record of IA experience in ICD 503 certification and accreditation
- Compliance with DoD 8140 and DoD training requirements (8510.01 RMF, NIST 800-53, DoD 8570.01-M)
- Certifications/experience in relevant technology areas
- Familiarization with NIST SP 800-37, CNSSI 1253, and NIST SP 800-53 Rev 3/4/ SP800-39
