Job Summary
Information Systems Analyst Associate Pharmacy at Geisinger Medical Center focuses on assisting with project completion in areas such as analysis, training, testing, documentation, problem resolution, and implementation of applications. Responsibilities include maintaining and evaluating medication catalogs, supporting policy/procedure development for automated equipment and technology, testing software upgrades, participating in disaster recovery planning, troubleshooting automation equipment, creating user guidance and reference materials, data collection for problem analysis, workflow and data workflow analysis, and contributing to project plans and system1 upgrades. Required qualifications include an Associate’s Degree, at least 1 year of related experience, and Certified Pharmacy Technician certification (PTCB or NHA). Office-based, day-shift role with emphasis on computer-based tasks, documentation, and collaboration across departments.
