Job Summary
Information System Specialist responsible for assisting in planning, forming and implementing procedures and best practices for user application needs. Duties include analyzing user requirements, evaluating resources and systems, designing program logic and interfaces, supporting multiple software versions, coordinating testing (UAT, performance, regression, integration), developing documentation, training users, maintaining applications, and collaborating with IT staff to provide coverage. Requires a Bachelor's degree and at least two years of related experience; familiarity with ERP/Accounting software, Microsoft Dynamics CRM, SQL Server, and the Microsoft Office suite. Based in Jamestown, ND with in-person work expectations; no remote arrangement stated.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university; minimum of two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Knowledge of ERP/Accounting software; Microsoft Dynamics CRM; SQL Server; Microsoft Access Database software; Microsoft Outlook Internet software; Microsoft Excel Spreadsheet software and Microsoft Word Processing software
- Ability to read and interpret documents; write routine reports and correspondence; speak effectively before groups of customers or employees or organization
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts; apply concepts of algebra and geometry
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions; deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations
- Ability to work with a diverse group of individuals
- Physical ability to perform job duties including lifting up to 100 pounds as described (as applicable)
