Job Summary
Senior Information System Security Representative (ISSR) for a federal cybersecurity program in Huntsville, AL. Responsibilities include day-to-day implementation, oversight, and continuous monitoring of security configurations and practices; liaison between system owner and IS security personnel; ensuring security controls are implemented and operating; maintaining system security documentation; conducting vulnerability scans; developing POAMs; managing risk and coordinating mitigation actions; supporting RMF/IA compliance, A&A, and security authorization processes; and coordinating IS security activities and evidence uploads (GRC/SSP) to support ATO decisions. Requires TS with SCI eligibility, CI-Polygraph eligibility, U.S. citizenship, 7+ years as an ISSR and 10+ years in cybersecurity, familiarity with Nessus/NBA tools and security products, and one of CISSP/GISP/CASP or IAM Level I certs. On-site role based in Huntsville, AL.
Required Qualifications
- Current U.S. Government Top Secret Clearance w/ SCI and a CI-Polygraph eligibility
- Must be a U.S Citizen
- At least 7 years serving as an ISSR at a cleared facility
- Minimum of 10 years work experience in a computer science or Cybersecurity related field
- Familiarity with security tools including Tenable Nessus and/or Security Center, IBM Guardium, HP WebInspect, Network Mapper (NMAP) and/or similar applications
- Hold at least one of the following certifications: CISSP, GISP, or CASP or other DoD IAM Level I proficiency
