Job Summary
Conduct risk assessments, support accreditation activities, and evaluate system security controls to ensure Air Force information systems meet DoD and Air Force cybersecurity requirements. Monitor for vulnerabilities, assist with incident response actions, and enforce policies, configurations, and user access standards while maintaining the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of critical networks. Participate in system design efforts to incorporate appropriate security controls and RMF activities from the start. This role requires an Active Secret Clearance and experience supporting the Risk Management Framework (RMF). Located onsite at Hill AFB, UT, the position works closely with the Information System Security Manager to protect critical networks and data.
Required Qualifications
- U.S. Citizen
- Active Secret Clearance
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in a related field and at least 3 years of experience in the discipline being performed, 3 of which must be in the DoD
- 7 years of directly related experience, 5 of which must be in the DoD
- IAT Level II (Security+, GSEC, CCNA-Security, Certified Systems Security Professional (CISSP), or equivalent certification)
- Experience supporting Risk Management Framework (RMF) activities and cybersecurity compliance
- Experience using eMASS for authorization packages, artifact management, and accreditation support
- Vulnerability assessment and risk mitigation analysis
- STIG/SRG implementation and configuration management
- Security audits, assessments, and incident response support
- Information system security and operational security posture management
- Secure system and network design support in DoD environments
