Information System Security Officer II

Propose, coordinate, implement, and enforce information systems security policies, standards, and methodologies. Maintain operational security posture by managing security aspects of the information system and performing day-to-day security operations. Evaluate security solutions, conduct vulnerability and risk assessment analysis, and provide configuration management for security software, hardware, and firmware. Manage system changes while assessing their security impact. Prepare and review documentation including System Security Plans, Risk Assessment Reports, Certification and Accreditation packages, and System Requirements Traceability Matrices. Support security authorization activities in compliance with NSA/CSS and DoD processes. This role supports a client in the Annapolis Junction, MD area for a rapidly growing information assurance company serving Department of Defense and Intelligence Community clients.
