Job Summary
Information System Security Officer sought to join CACI's cybersecurity team to support RMF/ATO processes for DoD/IC systems. Responsibilities include hardening information systems, providing full Assessment & Authorization (A&A) support across the RMF lifecycle, reviewing security plans (SSP) for networks and information systems, identifying vulnerabilities and guiding mitigations, and delivering secure, compliant information systems architectures. Candidate will collaborate with system integrators and administrators, work with system owners to resolve findings, and contribute to continuous monitoring to maintain security posture. Required: active TS/SCI clearance, US citizenship, 5+ years in system security accreditation for DoD/IC, strong knowledge of RMF, NIST SP 800-53, CNSSI 1253, FISMA, and experience with A&A/SSP, Windows/Linux, and vulnerability tools (ACAS/Nessus/HBSS). Preferred: CISSP or CGRC; DoD/IC IA experience; XACTA/eMASS familiarity; Security+ or equivalent.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology and/or information systems related discipline (will consider experience in lieu of degree)
- Active Top Secret/SCI clearance to start
- 5+ years experience generating and implementing System Security Accreditation/ICD 503 packages for DoD and/or IC Customers
- 5+ years experience establishing security processes for TOP SECRET communication network connected systems
- 5+ years experience with NIST SP 800-53, CNSSI 1253, and FISMA requirements RMF
- RMF knowledge and hands-on experience with RMF tasks for ATO
- US Citizenship required
- Security+ or equivalent
- Experience with Windows and Linux
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Experience with XACTA and/or eMASS
- Experience with vulnerability assessment tools (ACAS, Nessus)
- Knowledge of DoD/IC IA Vulnerability Management (IAVM) and Configuration Management
