Job Summary
Design and implement security solutions for information systems while conducting vulnerability assessments and developing mitigation strategies. Monitor and maintain system security configurations, collaborate with teams to integrate security into system designs, and develop policies to ensure compliance with regulatory standards. Leverage proficiency in SIEM, IDS/IPS, and vulnerability scanners to protect critical assets, applying expertise in encryption, firewalls, and secure software development practices. This TS/SCI Full Poly role in Tysons, VA requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and offers excellent compensation, flexible scheduling, and comprehensive benefits including 100% medical coverage and immediate 401k vesting.
Required Qualifications
- TS/SCI Full Poly clearance
- U.S. Citizenship
- Bachelor's Degree
- 4-5 years experience in lieu of a Bachelor's Degree
- Proficiency in security tools like SIEM, IDS/IPS, and vulnerability scanners
- Strong knowledge of encryption protocols and techniques
- Expertise in firewalls and network security configurations
- Familiarity with operating systems security (e.g., Windows, Linux)
- Ability to conduct security risk analysis and assessments
- Experience in secure software development practices
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of cloud security frameworks (e.g., AWS, Azure)
- Experience with advanced threat detection and response techniques
- Familiarity with DevSecOps practices and automation tools
- Expertise in secure identity and access management (IAM)
- Understanding of zero trust architecture principles
