Job Summary
Information System Security Engineer role at Accenture Federal Services supporting DoD/Federal clients in Fort Meade, MD. Responsibilities include reviewing and assessing RMF authorization artifacts such as SSP, SCTM, Continuous Monitoring Plan, Incident Response Plan, Access Control Plan, and Security Assessment Plan; ensuring compliance with IA directives across classifications including SCI; advising on security design, threat and risk assessments; contributing to Plans of Action and Milestones (POA&Ms), SCTMs, and Risk Assessment Reports; collaborating with ISSM and Cloud Engineers to support mission-critical systems; ensuring proper operation, maintenance, and disposal per security policies; performing audit log reviews and monitoring to identify anomalies, hacking, or insider threats.
Required Qualifications
- 3 years of experience supporting the accreditation of cloud-based systems
- 2 years of experience using Risk Management Framework (RMF)
- Experience with Windows and/or Linux environments
- 2 years of experience with virtualization or cloud environments
- 2 years of using information security and assurance practices and principles
- DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification or higher (Sec+, CISSP, CASP, etc.)
