Job Summary
Collaborate with business partners to define requirements for JD Edwards EnterpriseOne implementations and enhancements, then lead functional design and SDLC activities for small to medium projects. Provide strategic leadership in evaluating, recommending, and deploying improvements across JDE modules to optimize manufacturing processes and system functionality. Serve as the primary point of contact for Tier 1 and Tier 2 support requests, triaging issues through FreshService to ensure adherence to SLAs and uninterrupted operational performance. Develop and deliver end-user training programs while mentoring analysts to resolve complex technical challenges and maintain comprehensive system documentation. Proactively assess software releases and upgrades to ensure stability, while facilitating knowledge transfer to drive team capability and continuous improvement.
Required Qualifications
- Four (4) year college degree in Computer Science
- Substantial years of experience
- Working knowledge of a minimum of one JD Edwards EnterpriseOne (JDE E1) module
- Experience working in the technical support field
- Preference for experience within a manufacturing environment
- Expert-level knowledge in at least one JDE E1 module (Order to Cash, Procure to Pay, Demand to Available, Quality Management, Shop Floor Control, Capital Asset Management, or Warehouse Management)
- Proficiency ranging from basic queries to advanced database programming, stored procedures, and query optimization
- The ability to lead small to medium-scale projects through complete Software Development Life Cycle using structured methodologies
- Understanding and application of Agile development practices for iterative project delivery and continuous improvement
- Experience creating, maintaining, and enhancing business reports and analytics dashboards
- Skills in gathering, documenting, and translating business requirements into technical solution
- The ability to maintain proactive communication with project stakeholders and facilitate cross-functional collaboration
- The capability to assess training needs, develop comprehensive education programs, and deliver effective user training
- Working experience with manufacturing environment applications and understanding of business process integration
- Advanced problem-solving skills for system issues with ability to provide solutions within established SLA timelines
- Effective communication abilities for technical documentation, presentations, and stakeholder interactions
- The ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with diverse business and technical teams at all levels
- Skills in identifying, evaluating, and recommending system improvements that enhance user productivity and operational efficiency
- Understanding of change management principles to facilitate successful system implementations and user acceptance
- The ability to provide data-driven insights and strategic recommendations to optimize manufacturing and distribution operations
- Travel as required, approximately 10% travel per year
- Must be located in the Atlanta, Georgia area and within driving distance of the Corporate Office
- Must be 18+ years old
- Pass pre-employment screening (drug test, background check)
Desired Qualifications
- Four (4) year college degree in Computer Science or equivalent preferred
- PMP (PMI) certification preferred
- Proficiency in multiple JD Edwards EnterpriseOne (JDE E1) modules
- Experience leading projects, driving system improvements, and providing strategic direction for complex business and technology initiatives
