Job Summary
Provide administrative support to the Information Services Department and contribute to smooth operations and excellent service delivery. Responsibilities include database maintenance related to the integrated library system (ILS) and related software, updating Sierra patron records, monitoring the online registration platform for errors, assisting with hardware inventory, maintaining department documentation and internal procedures, supporting staff via phone/email for ILS issues, and collaborating with the System Administrator - ILS. Must demonstrate strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work with library staff and guests in a team-oriented environment; reliable transportation to travel to other branches is required, and a background check is required. 24 hours per week with a pay rate of $14.00 per hour.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalency
- Moderate computer skills (word processing and spreadsheets)
- Working knowledge of integrated library systems (ILS) preferred
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work in teams
- Strong interpersonal relationship skills and attention to detail
- Must be able to work days, evenings, and weekends
- Pass a background check
