Information Security Specialist (US)

Information Security Specialist responsible for defining, developing and implementing technology controls and information security programs. Acts as a lead expert resource on security for project teams, business units, and outside vendors; provides advanced risk assessments, gap analyses, and security solutions to mitigate risks. Requires 7+ years of relevant experience, expert knowledge of IT security and risk disciplines, and strong capabilities in areas such as access management, data security, infrastructure security, application security, resiliency, and technology operations. Role targets banking/financial services environments and involves navigating regulatory remediation workloads and reporting to senior oversight leads. Bachelor’s degree preferred. This on-site role is based in Charlotte, NC with responsibilities spanning complex projects, governance enhancements, and guidance to control owners and testing teams. The position emphasizes collaboration, leadership in technology controls, and delivering secure technology solutions for the organization.
