Job Summary
Lead information security assurance across high-profile defence programmes at Devonport Royal Dockyard. Develop and maintain assurance plans aligned with recognised frameworks; manage security risks, controls, and evidence to support compliance; engage with stakeholders including Ministry of Defence representatives; support audits and ongoing security improvement initiatives; collaborate with technical specialists and programme teams to embed robust security practices. Requires sole UK National able to achieve and maintain Security Check clearance; strong understanding of UK government/defence security standards and ability to produce security documentation and assurance artefacts.
Required Qualifications
- Relevant professional experience in information security, risk management, or cyber security
- Certifications such as Certified Information Security Professional, Certified Information Security Manager, or ISO 27001 Lead Auditor/Implementer are desirable
