Information Security Engineer

Coordinate and perform risk and vulnerability assessments of the Credit Union's systems and processes to ensure appropriate controls are in place and recommend or implement controls to remediate risk findings. Design, develop, and document network, device, application, and cloud platform security architecture and baseline configuration standards for firewalls, routers, servers, databases, and AWS/Microsoft Azure services. Perform daily operations and monitor events from SIEM consoles, intrusion detection systems, and system logs. Promptly respond to all security incidents, conduct breach analysis, and provide post-event analysis and documentation. Provide subject matter expertise on vendor risk management, application development, and cloud-based services. This role strengthens the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of critical on-prem and cloud systems across the organization.
