Job Summary

Security-focused Information Security Engineer designing, implementing, and deploying security solutions across Microsoft Azure, AWS, and GCP; manage IAM, incident response, vulnerability management, and security training. Collaborates with Dev, DevOps, and IT teams to enhance SIEM/SOAR capabilities, optimize log ingestion, and governance using Azure Policy and Defender for Cloud. Leads incident response, conducts post-incident analysis, and stays current on vulnerabilities and security technologies. Hybrid role requiring 2–3 days in the Sugar Land office. Provides security training materials and workshops to promote security awareness and best practices.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a security role
  • Strong knowledge of Azure security tools and services, including Defender for Cloud, Azure Networking, and Entra ID
  • Experience in developing and delivering security training programs
  • Proven experience in incident response and handling security incidents
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
