Job Summary
Information Security Engineer responsible for vulnerability management and security configuration, analyzing scan results, coordinating remediation with infrastructure/engineering teams, identifying and remediating vulnerabilities in SDS web applications, monitoring threat intelligence, implementing application control policies, security monitoring and alerting, incident response, on-call duties, and leading security improvement projects. Requires hands-on experience with Windows and Linux, cloud security (AWS), various security tools (Rapid7 InsightVM, SIEM, Digital Risk Protection, Automox, Duo, Manage Engine, ExtremeIQ, Sophos, Palo Alto Firewalls, Qualys, Office 365), scripting (PowerShell, Bash, Python), and familiarity with NIST, ISO, and HITRUST frameworks; location in Chennai (Perungudi).
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in information security, systems engineering, or a related technical role
- Experience with Rapid7 InsightVM, SIEM, Digital Risk Protection, Automox, Duo, Manage Engine, ExtremeIQ, Sophos, Palo Alto Firewalls, Qualys and Office 365, or similar
- Experience with scripting or automation (PowerShell, Bash, Python) to support remediation, monitoring, or configuration validation
- Experience and familiarity with security frameworks such as NIST, ISO, and HITRUST
- Microsoft Windows Operations Systems (Workstation and Server), Linux Operating Systems, MySQL database or similar
- AWS Cloud Security
- Strong personal organization and task discipline
- Strong reading comprehension
- Proficient in information and statistical analysis
