Job Summary
Join Severn Trent as an Information Security Architect within a growing team responsible for developing security strategies and providing architectural assurance. This role requires strong experience in security solution development, with an emphasis on evaluating and proposing technologies to enhance security posture while meeting business needs. Applicants should possess knowledge of security frameworks and hold relevant industry certifications. Responsibilities include creating security designs for hybrid architectures, engaging with stakeholders, and solving complex security challenges.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in the research, development and documentation of complex security solutions
- Ability to evaluate and propose solutions and technologies to enhance security posture
- Skills in writing high level designs encompassing both cloud and on-premise environments
- Robust communication skills with the ability to influence decision making
- Experience in security controls that drive modern security architecture
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of Operational Technology OT/IOT from regulated industries
- Understanding and awareness of industry frameworks such as NIST, NCSC CAF, CIS, IEC 62443
- Knowledge of the NIS-R Directive and PCI DSS
- Industry recognised security certifications such as CCSP, CISSP, CISM, ISO 27001 Lead Auditor/Implementor, or BCS certificate in Information Security Management
- Product related certifications desirable (e.g., Azure, AWS)
