Job Summary
Design and maintain security architecture for healthcare information systems, medical devices, and sensitive patient data. Collaborate with IT, clinical engineering, compliance, privacy, and business teams to align security controls with organizational goals, regulations, and best practices while ensuring operational efficiency. Manage cybersecurity strategy, risk management, secure system design, cloud security, and regulatory compliance across 13 hospitals and community-based health centers serving communities in Illinois and Wisconsin. Work remotely with a 40-hour schedule, requiring high-speed internet connectivity.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, Healthcare Informatics, or related field
- 4 years of progressive experience in cybersecurity, information security, or IT architecture
- 4 years of experience in security architecture or enterprise architecture roles
- Experience within healthcare organizations, healthcare technology vendors, or regulated industries
- Download speeds must be at least 20 Mb or higher
- Upload speeds must be at least 6 Mb or higher
- Latency/Ping must be under 100 ms
- 100% remote work capability
- Residency in AZ, FL, IL, IN, KY, MI, MO, NC, NE, NH, SC, TN, TX, OH, WI, or WY
- COVID-19 vaccines or an approved medical or religious exemption
Desired Qualifications
- 10 Mb or higher upload speeds
- Under 60 ms latency/ping
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
- Certified Information Security Manager (CISM)
- Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP)

- Cloud security certifications (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud)
