Information Security Analyst

Hybrid Information Security Analyst responsible for monitoring and communicating the status of information security and confidentiality; interface with user customers to understand security needs and implement procedures including training and assessment; assist with security audits (IRS, SSA, OCSE, FBI, SBOA) and remediate findings; develop information security policies and standards aligned with state/federal requirements (e.g., IRS, SSA, OCSE, FBI, IOT) and NIST SP 800-53; create SOPs for implementing security policies; recommend safeguards during development of IT systems; ensure optimal use of hardware/software for secure operations; develop and implement information security management software procedures; propose software enhancements; perform periodic audits; develop recommendations and reports; stay current on privacy laws, network security, cloud security, remote access, and physical security.
