Job Summary
Information Security Advisor role responsible for managing delivery of information and network security systems and services, leading implementations, developing testing plans, coordinating reporting of security events, providing architecture support, assisting in risk assessments and security procedures, participating in change control, managing vendor relationships, and leading complex incident recoveries and preventative maintenance. The position requires a Bachelor’s degree and 3 years of relevant experience, with hybrid on-site and virtual work in Grand Prairie, TX, including weekly in-person requirements and potential additional on-site time.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related
- Three (3) years in any occupation with experience in support and operations or design and engineering
- Experience in access management or network security technologies, servers, networks, network communications, operating systems, middleware, disaster recovery, or related infrastructure services
- Experience with information security technologies: at least 3 of the following areas: Access Control, Application Security, Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery, Cryptography, Information Security and Risk Management, Compliance and Investigations, Operations Security, Physical Security, Security Architecture and Design, Telecommunications and Network Security
- Tools: Prisma Cloud and Qualys
- Technologies: OpenShift/ROSA, Docker and/or Kubernetes containers
- Scripting: Python and Bash
