Job Summary
Implement cybersecurity controls and monitor events to ensure compliance with AFI 17-130, DoD, and USAF directives. Draft local information assurance policies, manage risk identification, and coordinate incident response and recovery actions per SPIN-C regulations. Configure hardware and software per STIG guidance, conduct vulnerability scans, and maintain certification and accreditation documentation including RMF artifacts and POA&Ms. Process access authorization and exemption requests, track sensitive media, and manage COMSEC and EMSEC programs. Submit monthly status reports and IA advisories while promoting security awareness and attending required meetings. Requires Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility, DISA ACAS certification, and a DoD 8140 Intermediate Level certification.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- 5+ years' work experience
- DoD 8140 DCWF 722, Intermediate Level
- (GLSC or CISM) certification
- (CISSP) certification within 1 year of hire
- DISA ACAS (Assured Compliance Assessment Solution) Certification (active/ or obtained within 1 year of hire / notification)
- Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility
