Job Summary
Support a Chief Information Security Officer client organization with the development and maintenance of an enterprise-wide Information Security program and the creation of security policies. Engage daily with mission leads and systems owners regarding system security architecture through technical working groups. Apply knowledge of data governance, supply chain risk management, and cloud security to solve enterprise-level problems across diverse mission areas. This role requires an active TS/SCI with polygraph and 8+ years of experience as an ISSO, ISSE, or ISSM. Located at the client site in Linthicum, MD, the position offers a salary range of $136k-$217k depending on experience.
Required Qualifications
- Active TS/SCI with Polygraph
- 8+ years of experience as an ISSO, ISSE, or ISSM
- Experience with requirements gathering and analysis
- Client and stakeholder engagement through working groups and technical exchange meetings
- Knowledge of data governance process and entitlement understanding
- Familiarity with sensitive data types and associated protections
- Knowledge of Supply Chain Risk Management (SCRM)
- Knowledge of Cloud Security (e.g. AWS or Azure Cloud)
- Knowledge of system or security architecture
- Ability to work both individually and in a team environment in an Enterprise-level organization
- High School Diploma (HS) or General Educational Development (GED)
- Location: Linthicum, MD (client site)
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with systems engineering
- Knowledge of the RMF process and NIST 800-53 security controls
- Knowledge of a national agency's corporate systems and their implementation of security controls
- Ability to select 800-53 security controls and apply them to a system
- Ability to assess residual risk based on threat and security control implementation
- Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Bachelor's degree
