Job Summary
Provide risk assessments and reviews for software/hardware deployed on Joint Base San Antonio sites; report security breaches; address incidents and remediate vulnerabilities within DHA address IP space; ensure systems comply with RMF/DHA baselines; perform Basic Cyber Assessments using NIST SP 800-171 and attend SPRS entries for contractor information systems; analyze/improve system security practices; assist in designing/writing certification and accreditation documents (POA&M, SSAA) for ATO; follow NIST/RMF standards; administer MAC2/MAC3 security features; conduct security reviews and maintain CAC login and PKI authentication; utilize DoD security tools (Retina, ACAS, AppDetective) and support ISSM in duties; ensure proper documentation is current and accessible and coordinate incident response and protective measures; ensure user access controls and security responsibilities are understood by authorized personnel.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- IAM III certifications (CISSP, CASP or CISM)
- Experience with NIST RMF and DoD security requirements
- Knowledge of NIST SP 800-171 DoD Assessment Scoring Template
- Experience administering MAC2/MAC3 security controls
- Experience with C&A documentation packages (SSAA, POA&M) and ATO processes
- CAC login and PKI familiarity
- Vulnerability management and incident response capabilities
