Job Summary
Provide information, assistance, and guidance to clients and visitors on programs including MIPPA, SHIIP, SNAP, and Medicare. Teach participants at Senior Centers and via media platforms about health and wellness resources. Coordinate and execute tournaments and special projects at Senior Centers while ensuring seamless access to all available services. Collaborate with the Grants Department to assist with billing procedures and prepare monthly reports. Act as a liaison between AAAWA and other service agencies to facilitate referrals and support. Attend mandatory training sessions to maintain up-to-date knowledge and skills. This role supports older adults and individuals with special needs at AAAWA, a non-profit dedicated to helping aging individuals remain in their own homes.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Exceptional presentation skills
- Comfortable presenting in front of large audiences
- Proficient computer skills including experience with MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Valid driver's license
- Must pass background checks and drug screening
