Job Summary
Information Architect role focused on designing and maintaining the organization’s IT infrastructure to maximize uptime and secure operations. Responsible for analyzing system requirements and defining infrastructure across servers, storage, networking, security, and operating systems, including virtualization (VMware), cloud (IaaS/PaaS/SaaS), and related tooling. Responsibilities include capacity planning, storage requirements, troubleshooting, incident response, and coordinating maintenance/upgrades to improve the operating infrastructure and minimize downtime. Requires experience with Cisco technologies (switching/routing/AAA), Active Directory/Group Policy, MS Exchange, SAN, VPN, firewall administration, and security engineering. Strong analytical skills for root-cause analysis, integration between systems, and collaboration with vendors to deliver IT services; occasional travel and 15-20% plant presence. Bachelor’s degree is preferred; certifications such as Network+ and CCNA are preferred.
