Job Summary
Develop and optimize electronic health record systems to support efficient usage, quality initiatives, and government reimbursement regulations. Serve as a subject matter expert on assigned projects from inception through rollout, facilitating process improvements for clinical workflow, documentation, and compliance. Collaborate with the executive Project Management Office, Epic Application Teams, and clinical integration departments to address balanced scorecard metrics and Core Measures reporting requirements. Act as a project liaison between information systems and operations while assisting with staff training and education. Obtain appropriate Epic certification within 90 days of hire.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Clinical Healthcare, Computer Technology or Science, or a closely related field
- 3 years of progressively responsible professional work experience in Informatics, Application build and support, or a closely related field
- EPIC - EPIC Certification appropriate Epic certification be successfully obtained for a specific area of assigned responsibility within 90 Days
Desired Qualifications
- Registered Nurse with current Georgie licensure, or licensed/registered professional in a clinical healthcare area
- Project management experience
