Job Summary
Design, usability, and optimization of medication management within the electronic health record, alerts, and decision support systems. Collaborate with healthcare executives, providers, pharmacists, nurses, and IS teams to improve multifaceted workflows and implement efficient technology solutions that enhance patient safety and end-user experience. Ensure data quality and best practices while avoiding medication-related harm through safe medication strategy projects. Requires current registered pharmacist licensure, three years of healthcare experience, and patient safety initiative involvement.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of pharmacy
- Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy
- 3 years of experience working in a healthcare setting
- Experience working on patient safety initiatives related to pharmacy/EMR
- Strong medication and pharmacy operations knowledge, including ordering, dispensing, administration, and diversion workflows
- Current licensure as a registered pharmacist
- Epic certification
Desired Qualifications
- PharmD
- Experience with pharmacy applications and/or pharmacy informatics, EHR, data and reporting
- Experience with Epic EHR
