Job Summary
Design and implement informatics solutions supporting clinical practice from planning through full adoption. Serve as a bridge between clinical and operational departments, linking practice, processes, technology, and information to enhance patient care across Mayo locations. Coordinate change management by revising workflows and standardizing policies to successfully implement automated systems. Provide leadership, consultation, and direction for information technology impacting clinical nursing information management from planning through evaluation. This Limited Tenure position requires a local resident in the greater Phoenix area with at least two years of clinical informatics experience. Employment terminates at the established end date, and candidates must secure another role within Mayo upon completion.
Required Qualifications
- Must be a local resident within the greater Phoenix area
- Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience is preferred
- Internal candidates must have 2 years of work experience with Mayo Clinic
- External candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of clinical informatics experience
- You commit to stay in this position until the end of the tenure (approximately 12 months from date of hire)
- After the completion of the limited tenure assignment, it is your responsibility to secure another role within Mayo through the job vacancy process
