Job Summary
Plan and execute Informatica IDQ profiles, install and configure the Informatica product suite, and manage technical details for PowerExchange, PowerCenter, MDM, and IDQ modules. Coordinate platform maintenance, disaster recovery, and software release management while performing capacity and stability monitoring. Assist with the design of technical requirements, implement data quality rules into dashboards, and conduct root cause analysis for job failures and missed data loads. Provide server and database administrator support for performance tuning and participate in data cleansing initiatives prior to warehouse loading. This role aligns ETL environments with operational strategies under the direction of the Data Warehouse Development Manager. Candidates must be onsite in Richmond, VA.
Required Qualifications
- 2 – 5 Years of Medicaid or health plan experience
- 5 – 10 Years of experience as an Informatica administrator
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology (CS, MIS) or equivalent experience
- Ability to be onsite in Richmond, VA
- Significant and demonstrable experience with data quality, data profiling, data cleansing, metadata management and reporting
- Strong Experience with administration of Informatica IDQ toolset
- Hands on Experience with the Informatica PowerCenter v9.x and v10x Software Installation and Configuration
- Knowledge and/or Experience with administration of Informatica Enterprise Data Catalog
- Experience with installation in a Windows and Linux environment
- Proven troubleshooting & issues resolution skills
- Ability to analyze & communicate root cause and resolution steps
- Familiarity with Informatica Best Practices
- Working knowledge of the Informatica software security model and adaptability
- Working knowledge of AD authentication models and LDAP integration to Informatica PowerCenter v10.x
- Firm understand ETL basic concepts of data flow, data enrichment, data consolidation, change data capture and transformation
- Understands the range of options and best practices for common ETL design techniques such as change data capture, key generation and optimization
- Strong proficiency in SQL programming, query writing, query performance tuning, and database technologies
- Experience with all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
- Clear and effective communication skills
- Should possess strong leadership skills
Desired Qualifications
- Additional experience developing ETL solutions using PowerCenter
- Firm understanding of MDM concepts with experience with Informatica MDM
- Experience with Informatica connectors
- Experience in a healthcare setting and knowledge of medical coding systems, i.e. ICD9, CPT, HCPCS, DRGs
- Expertise and experience in the use of an ETL development tool (Informatica PowerCenter preferred)
- The ability to read data model (ER) diagrams
- Hands on experience with Informatica CDC Power Exchange setup
