Job Summary
Administer the Informatica platform across development, QA, and production environments, managing components, security configurations, and physical installations. Configure, optimize, and maintain on-premises and IICS services while liaising with Systems, Network, and DBA teams to implement changes. Support production jobs through performance tuning, metrics analysis, and troubleshooting, monitoring environments to detect issues before they impact users. Manage technical support relationships, execute domain/repository backups, and handle object versioning via GitHub. Deploy code using Deployment groups and XML export/import, and integrate Informatica Cloud iPaaS solutions including Data Quality, Catalog, and CDC. Document deployment mechanisms and implement process improvements to ensure data accuracy and regulatory compliance. Provide 24x7 support as needed with flexibility to meet business requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Experience administering Informatica Platform on-premises and/or IICS
- Experience with databases (SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL)
- Proficiency with SQL, Linux Shell, PowerShell, Python/Java
- Experience with enterprise schedulers like Control M
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively across multiple business and technical teams
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, tight deadline delivery timeline
- Aptitude to independently learn new technologies
- Scheduling flexibility to meet the needs of the business; available to provide 24x7 support as needed
- Previous working experience in onsite offshore model
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Self-motivated; detail-oriented with excellent Organization skills
- Strong troubleshooting skills and a methodical approach to issue resolution
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in Domain and Repository Backup activities
- Should have experience in managing object versions using GitHub
- Should have experience in Folder Creation and Code Migration using Deployment group, Export/Import xml
- Experience in Informatica Cloud Integration platform as a service (iaaS) solutions including Data Integration, Cloud Data Quality, Data Catalog, Data governance and CDC
- Hands on experience in IICS (Informatica Cloud) Design and Development
- Good experience in Agile delivery model
- Should have experience talking to business users strong communication and presentation skills
