Infoblox Systems Engineer

Job Summary
Design, implement, and maintain enterprise Infoblox DNS, DHCP, and IP Address Management solutions while leading systems engineering activities from requirements analysis through operational support. Architect scalable, secure, and highly available network infrastructure, develop technical specifications, and oversee integration across multiple engineering teams and government stakeholders. Lead root cause analysis for complex infrastructure issues, manage change control and lifecycle activities, and serve as the primary technical advisor to leadership on modernization initiatives. Provide technical guidance on emerging technologies, mentor senior engineers, and ensure deliverables comply with industry standards and organizational policies. This Level 4 role requires an existing/active TS/SCI with CI polygraph, on-site work only, and extensive experience in enterprise DDI environments and systems engineering methodologies.
Required Qualifications
- Existing/active TS/SCI with CI polygraph
- On-site work (no remote work)
- Extensive experience designing, implementing, and administering enterprise Infoblox DDI environments
- Expert knowledge of DNS, DHCP, IP Address Management (IPAM), and enterprise networking principles
- Experience designing highly available, scalable, and secure infrastructure architectures
- Strong understanding of systems engineering methodologies and full system lifecycle management
- Experience developing system architecture documentation, interface specifications, and engineering documentation
- Demonstrated ability to lead large-scale infrastructure modernization and integration projects
- Experience troubleshooting highly complex infrastructure and systems integration issues
- Ability to communicate effectively with executive leadership, government customers, vendors, and cross-functional engineering teams
- DoD 8570 (or DoD 8140 equivalent) Information Assurance certification appropriate for the position
- High School Diploma and 12 years of relevant experience
- Associate's Degree and 10 years of relevant experience
- Bachelor's Degree and 8 years of relevant experience
- Master's Degree and 6 years of relevant experience
- PhD and 4 years of relevant experience

- Infoblox Grid Manager administration
- DNSSEC, Response Policy Zones (RPZ), and DNS security best practices
- Microsoft Active Directory integration with Infoblox
- Enterprise network architecture and routing principles
- REST API integration and infrastructure automation
- Python, PowerShell, or Ansible automation
- VMware virtualization technologies
- Windows Server administration
- Network monitoring and performance management
- Configuration management and change control processes
- High availability, disaster recovery, and business continuity planning
- Cloud networking integration (AWS, Azure, or hybrid cloud environments)
- Infoblox Certified Professional (ICP) or other relevant Infoblox certifications
- Relevant Microsoft, Cisco, VMware, or cloud platform certifications
