Job Summary
Operate and troubleshoot all material blending systems while maintaining material flow to extruders. Clean system filters, socks, and canisters; monitor regrind usage; and maintain housekeeping in blender mezzanines, silo rooms, and compressor areas. Replace material hoses as needed, write work orders for repairs, and properly label materials for storage. Complete required paperwork, communicate with the following shift and operators, and follow all safety procedures. Work the night shift from 7:00pm to 7:00am in a hot environment, lifting 75 lbs occasionally and working 30 feet off the ground.
Required Qualifications
- Must have basic math skills
- Must be able to work 30' off the ground
- Must have the ability to lift 75 lbs occasionally as job demands
- Must be able to work standing or walking in a hot environment for 12 hours with appropriate breaks
Desired Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred
