Job Summary
Infectious Diseases Physician position in Glenview, IL for a fellowship-trained, BC/BE infectious diseases specialist. Provide medical patient care, participate in academic appointment with University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine, join quality improvement and educational activities, and collaborate with Microbiology, Molecular Diagnostics, and Pharmacy. Responsibilities include interviewing and treating patients, determining referrals and follow-ups, exercising medical judgment, prescribing treatments, ordering studies, documenting in medical records, reviewing long-term cases, participating in continuing education and hospital/clinic programs, and maintaining patient confidentiality. Requirements: fellowship-trained, ABIM/AOBIM board-eligible or -certified, valid MD/DO license (or pending), and valid DEA license. Compensation range: 188,103 to 341,000 USD depending on post-training experience. EOE.
