Job Summary
Infectious Disease Physician sought to join a busy Infectious Diseases Division. Responsibilities include delivering patient-centered ID care, collaborating with Microbiology, Molecular Diagnostics, and Pharmacy, teaching students and trainees with an academic appointment, participating in Grand Rounds and committees, exercising medical judgment, prescribing treatments, ordering and coordinating studies, documenting in medical records, and engaging in quality improvement and department activities. Eligible candidates should be fellowship-trained and BC/BE by ABIM or AOBIM, possess a valid MD/DO license, and hold a DEA license. The role offers an academic flavor with potential teaching and scholarly activities in partnership with the University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine and a compensation range of $188,103 to $341,000 based on experience.
