Job Summary
Infectious Diseases physician: fellowship-trained, board certified or eligible in Infectious Disease; MD/DO licensed; provide medical patient care, teaching, and participate in academic activities including an appointment with the University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine. Engage in departmental activities (Grand Rounds, quality/education committees), determine referrals and follow-up needs, prescribe treatments, order studies, document in EMR, and maintain patient confidentiality while collaborating with Microbiology, Molecular Diagnostics, and Pharmacy.
Required Qualifications
- Fellowship trained
- BC/BE by the ABIM or AOBIM
- Valid state medical License as MD/DO or pending
- Valid DEA/Controlled Substance License
