Job Summary
Traditional part-time Infectious Disease physician role in a community setting with outpatient focus in Lafayette, IN. Responsibilities include diagnostic excellence, collaborative care with inpatient ID physicians and NPs, and maintaining strong communication to support high-quality patient care. No weekend or holiday obligations; call responsibility averages one night every other week; outpatient volume around 10-12 patients per day. Opportunities for mentorship and leadership within Franciscan Health network; cross-disciplinary collaboration across surgical and medical specialties; onsite Infusion Center and Wound Clinic. Qualifications include Doctorate (MD/DO) with BE/BC in Infectious Disease, medical license upon hire, and board certification or eligibility in the specialty; BLS required. Travel is never or rarely required.
