Job Summary
Assist in implementing and monitoring the Infection Prevention and Control (IPC) Program under IP leadership; serve as a liaison/resource for IPC activities; collaborate with clinical and non-clinical departments to reduce healthcare-associated infections; perform surveillance of infections, analyze data, support outbreak investigations, prepare reports for committees, ensure compliance with infection control standards and accreditation requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Nursing, Public Health or related field; OR equivalent combination of education and experience.
- One year experience of healthcare, public health, or related field
- Two years' of experience in infection prevention and control
- Certified Infection Control (CIC)
