Job Summary
Infection Preventionist role (RN/LPN-licensed) coordinating and updating the facility's infection prevention and control policies, collecting and analyzing infection and antibiotic usage data, delivering education and training, and ensuring compliance with state, federal, and local guidelines. Requires active Florida RN license (or equivalent per the role), CPR certification, and experience in nursing care. Responsibilities include policy development, reporting to Administration and QAPI committee, and keeping protocols current to prevent and control infections within the facility.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed RN in Florida
- CPR Certified
- Background screening through Florida AHCA Clearinghouse
- One year nursing experience preferred
