Job Summary
Infection Preventionist RN role focused on leading infection control surveillance, consultation, education, regulatory compliance, and quality/performance improvement for Providence Medical Group Northwest. Responsible for planning, developing, directing, implementing, and evaluating the infection prevention program; collecting, reporting, and presenting statistical information; maintaining active surveillance; conducting rounds and training to ensure adherence to infection control policies; and keeping current, evidence-based policies for outbreak investigation and new regulations. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or equivalent education/experience
- Washington Registered Nurse License
- Within 2 years of hire: Certified in Infection Control - Certification Board of Infection Control and Epidemiology (Facility Managed)
- 5 years' experience as a Registered Nurse including both ambulatory care and acute care nursing
- Experience in Infection Control
