Job Summary
Infection Preventionist (LVN) at Angels Nursing Health Center leads the infection control and antibiotic stewardship programs, ensuring compliance with CDC/OSHA/local regulations, developing and evaluating infection control policies, maintaining training materials, and reporting to the Administrator. Requires current Vocational Nurse licensure in California with nursing/epidemiology/microbiology training; BSN preferred. Experience in long-term care management or auditing and sub-acute settings is preferred. Role involves standing/walking, interacting with residents, and coordinating cross-departmental infection-control activities. Required Qualifications
- Current licensure as a Licensed Vocational Nurse by the State of California
- Primary professional training in nursing, epidemiology, microbiology, medical technology, or a related field

- Advanced nursing degree such as a BSN or equivalent educational background preferred
- Long-term care nursing experience in a management or auditing role preferred
- Sub-acute experience preferred
