Job Summary
Infection Prevention Specialist to conduct on-site infection prevention assessments of healthcare facilities, provide follow-up consultation to mitigate identified gaps, review policies and procedures to ensure compliance with national standards, and collaborate with infection prevention leadership to develop, implement and evaluate the infection prevention and control plan. Role involves coordinating improvement processes with operational leaders to drive infection prevention across the UW Health System; EPIC Bugsy experience preferred; 1 year of relevant clinical infection control experience required; Bachelor's degree in nursing, microbiology, public health or related field required, Master's preferred.
