Infection Prevention Specialist Orlando: Leverages technology for surveillance and reporting to ensure data integrity and timely submission to regulatory systems. Collaborates with internal teams, public health officials, healthcare coalitions, and vendors to enhance infection prevention outcomes. Advocates for evidence-based practices while maintaining ethical standards and regulatory compliance. Participates in research and quality improvement initiatives, differentiating between QI and research, and disseminates results through education and consultation. Contributes to product evaluation and cost-effectiveness initiatives, supporting organizational goals through informed decision-making and business case development. Schedule: Monday through Friday, day shift; 5/8's with potential for extra hours. Licenses and Certifications: Infection Control Certification (CIC) preferred. Education: Associate degree required; Bachelor’s preferred. Experience: 2+ years in clinical infection control or public health. Pay range provided between $65,622.66 and $122,055.21 annually.
