Job Summary
Infection Prevention LVN or RN sought by a skilled nursing facility to lead infection prevention and control activities. Responsibilities include preventing transmission of infectious agents, implementing infection prevention strategies, analyzing surveillance findings, developing action plans with the Director of Nursing Services, collecting data for epidemiological review, conducting QA monitoring to address infection risks, documenting issues, implementing control measures in performance improvement projects, and assisting with staff education programs in collaboration with the Director of Staff Development.
Required Qualifications
- Active LVN or RN license
- Infection prevention experience or certification
